With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hiawatha Barnes of Evansville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2025 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hiawatha Barnes, and Virginia C. Barnes, Sr. (Sherron). He is survived by: his brother Walter Barnes; his daughter Tracey Barnes; and his grandchildren, LaToya Banks (Randy), Tyrone, Marcus, Shiesta, Emanuelle, Shanice, Tyreeke, Marika and Travon. He is also survived by 23 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
