He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Burgdorf and Gladys Burgdorf (Richardson); and his brother Jerry Burgdorf. He is survived by: his wife Bertha Burgdorf (Cornell); his children, Gary Burgdorf (Carol), David Burgdorf and Shirley J. Burgdorf; his sister Nancy Vowels (Wayne); his grandchildren, Ashley Burgdorf-Bernaugh (Stacy) and Adam Burgdorf; his great grandchild Demetrius Bernaugh; and his sister-in-law Shirley Burgdorf. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's UCC and the VFW Post 1114.
