She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Willett and Helen Willett (Langton); her husband George E. "Eddie" Murphy; her former husband Ronnie Morgan; her siblings, Marilyn Schuler, Carl Willett, Jr. and Michael Willett; and her stepdaughter Kristy Murphy Gatherings.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tracy Morgan Smith (Troy) and Stacy Morgan Kaine; her stepdaughters, Tracy Murphy and Kelly Murphy Perkins; her grandchildren, Zachary Smith, Joshua Smith, Austin Kaine, Brittany Murphy Burton (Darius), Lyndsey Murphy, Kelsey Murphy and Cameron Perkins; her great grandchildren, Vera Burton, Maya Burton and Oaklynn Smith; and her sister Carolyn Frasier. She is also survived by many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
