He was predeceased by: his parents, William Tharp and Ruth Tharp (Hillman); his wife Mary Ann Tharp; his siblings, Mary E. Tharp, Bonnie Halterman and George Tharp; his stepmother Alice Tharp; his son Michael Tharp; his son-in-law Doug Kennedy; and his granddaughter Rebecca Tharp.
He is survived by: his pet Morgan; his daughters, Patty Kennedy, Barbara Mann, Sandy Yoder (John) and Heather Bugg (Johnny); his daughter-in-law Maggie Tharp; his grandchildren, Kyle Tharp, Kasey Kennedy, Buster Mann (Kelly), Jason Mann, Toby Yoder (Nikita) and Todd Yoder (Conci); and his great grandchildren, Riley Mann, Karley Mann and Kylee Mann.
