James Koch Obituary
We announce the death of James Koch of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on July 28, 2026, at the age of 86. James will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Koch (Gries) and Lawrence N. Koch; his wife Cheryl Sue Koch (Hassel); and his brothers, Tom, Bob and Ray Koch.
He is survived by: his sons, David Koch and Thomas Koch; and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Koch, Sylvia Greenwell (Max), Patti Leach (Gary) and Bettie Hassel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
