He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Armor and Ruth Nora Spruell (Reid); his son Michael Spruell; and his siblings, Sam Spruell, Mary Crackel and Jerry Spruell.
He is survived by: his daughter Glenna Jean Spruell of Fairfield, IL; and his siblings, Letha Harris (Jack), Tom Spruell, David Spruell (Connie), Rosalie Spruell and William Spruell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
