He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wheeler and Amelia Wheeler (Crowdus); his grandparents, Edward and Ida Crowdus; his daughter Cheri; his sister Rita Durchholz; and his grandchildren, Makenna and Keegan Payton.
He is survived by: his caregiver Cindy; his children, Matt Wheeler (Dina), Heath Wheeler (April) and Amanda Payton (Kurtis); and his siblings, Theresa Schmitt (Bobby) and Bobby Wheeler (Jane). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
