She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Long and Blanche Long (Kennett); her husband Mason Flake; her granddaughter Chelsea Flake; and her siblings, Maxine Workman, Edith Stanley, Betty Toole, Doris Francu, Peggy Barclay, Joan Spillman, Ralph Long, Harold Long, Phillip Long, James Long and Wilton Long.
She is survived by: her sons, Mason Flake, Jr. (Julie) of Newburgh, IN and Michael Flake (Debbie) of Evansville, IN; and her grandchildren, Mason Flake, Leah Flake, Austin Flake (Maddy) and Bryce Flake (Kaylee). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Browning Funeral Home (738 E Diamond Ave, Evansville, IN 47711). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
