She was predeceased by: her parents, Henrietta Work (Bretz) and Herman Mallory; her husband Richard Wittgen; her children, Michael Wittgen and Julia Wittgen Best; and her brother Donald Nichols.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Wittgen (Debbie) of Whitby, Ontario, Jeffrey Wittgen (Patti) of Evansville and Mary Rose Blankemeier (Daniel) of Carmel, Indiana; her son-in-law John Best of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; her grandchildren, Brianne Wittgen (Robbie Johnson), Mark Orr, Michael Orr and Sarah Fell; her great grandchild Carter; her grandchildren, Jennifer Wittgen (Peterson Browning), Benjamin Wittgen (Emma Hasker), Katherine Blankemeier, Samuel Blankemeier (Lily Michal), Caroline Blankemeier (Cooper Nigh), Andrea Best and Jack Best; her great grandchildren, Savannah, Daxton and Roman Browning; and her sister-in-law Roseanne Nichols. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
