With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jeanette Rae Goedde of Evansville, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jeanette left this world on September 30, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Henry and Rose Ann Helfrich (Hillenbrand); her siblings, Marcella Montgomery, Eloise Akin, Wilfred Helfrich, Alvin Helfrich and George Helfrich, Jr.; her granddaughter Kristen Norman; and her son-in-law Dwayne Wilcox.
She is survived by: her husband Darwin Goedde; and her children, Janice Wilcox, Donna Vanover (Ray), Jane Mahan (Bill), Rebecca Colson (Randy), Diane Norman (Jeff), Lisa Mayer (Bruce), Ron Goedde (Letta), Robert Goedde (Pam), Rick Goedde (Robin) and Roger Goedde (Jennifer).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christian Fellowship Church (4100 Millersburg Rd, Evansville, IN 47725).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice, 610 E. Walnut Street, Evansville, IN 47713.
