He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica Kent (Daniel) and Amanda Coats (Matt); his granddaughter Shelby; his siblings, John Whitner (Valena) and Jennifer Flynn (Gary); his stepmother Annette Whitner; his stepsisters, Rose Henry and Roxanne Southern; his nephews, Tyler Flynn (Jen) and Ryan Flynn (Kayla); his niece Nichole Whitner; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tessa, Alexis, Sydney, Ryley, Madigan, Aiden and Kellan; and his friend Diana Starr.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Momentum Church (1403 R St, Bedford, IN 47421). A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1415 N Gate Rd, Madison, IN 47250).
