He was predeceased by: his parents, Georgia Lee White (Hurt) and Prentice Howard White; his wife Jackie Winfield Shornhorst Hurt; his brothers-in-law, Chester Miskimen and Gary Moore; and his niece Harmonie Lynn Summers.
He is survived by: his sisters, Cora Miskimen, Beth Moore, Melody Summers (Tony) and Phylis Wade. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Browning Funeral Home (738 E Diamond Ave, Evansville, IN 47711). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
