He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Diaz and Henrietta DeGroot (Loy); his wife Mary Louise Diaz (Purser); and his brothers, Leon Diaz Jr. and David Diaz.
He is survived by: his children, Febra Louk, Jimmy Guy Diaz, Jacque Cundy (Jesse) and Tambi Miles (Keith); his sister Delores Diaz; his grandchildren, Scott Velasquez (Crystal), Kendra Henderson (Greg), Kristine Diaz (Eric Sodolak), David Diaz, Keith Miles (Amanda) and Darren Miles; his great grandchildren, Gabriella, Isabella, John Paul, Christopher, Landon, Kasper, Fiona, Lil Keith and Caroline; and his great great grandchild Angel Arzola.
