He is survived by: his wife Thelma Jean Birkhead (Barton); his sons, Scott Birkhead (Kat Sanders) of Evansville, IN, Jim Birkhead of Evansville, IN and Joe Birkhead (Kelly) of Evansville, IN; his grandchildren, Chris, Jason, Brian (Jamie), Savanna (Kelly), Landyn, Mary and Peter; and his great grandchild Scarlet.
