He was predeceased by: his father Dorris Brazelton; and his brothers, Don and Charles Brazelton. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Brazelton (Moody); and his children, David Brazelton (Kari) and Tracy Schmitt (Brian). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
