Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Laine and Helen Laine; his grandson David Laine; and his sister Marianna Hassler. He is survived by: his significant other Doris; his children, Jeff Laine (Becky), Linda Blevins (Ken), Greg Laine (Kate) and Laurie Laine (Dannie Wells); his brother Bob Laine; his child-in-law Robin Laine; and his sister Ruth Spahn.
