He was predeceased by: his parents, John Goebel and Rita Goebel (Litzelman); his wife Wanda Sue Goebel (Gray); and his sister Rita "Deetz" Goebel. He is survived by: his children, Missi Hayden (Randy), Bobbi Pierson (Jim), John Goebel (Amy), Woody Goebel (Christi), Lucas Goebel (Natalia) and Nick Goebel (Erin); and his siblings, Joyce Rhodes (Pat), Janice Schuble (Larry), Carol Reising (Rusty), Terri Weber (David), Lisa Blankenship (Tim), Judy Boarman (Ken), Beth Lindauer (Dave), Jim Goebel (Faye), Andy Goebel (Darlene), Tony Goebel (Zetta), Mike Goebel (Melanie), Tom Goebel (Karen), Gary Goebel (Cindy), Glenn Goebel and Chris Goebel (Jeannine).
