It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved John W. Libs of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 83, on July 21, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, John is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that John's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John G. Libs and Loraine W. Libs (Wells); and his sister Barbara Henneberger. He is survived by: his wife Judi Freson Libs (Kavanaugh); his son Ryan Libs; and his siblings, Michael Libs and Becky Sharp (Bob). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel (800 S Hebron Ave, Evansville, IN 47714). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (1400 E Virginia St, Evansville, IN 47711).
