He was predeceased by: his parents, Viola Diefenbaugh (Cordell) and William R. Diefenbaugh; his wife Brenda Lee Diefenbaugh; and his brothers, Tommy Bean and Larry Ray Stevenson.
He is survived by: his children, Brandy Roehr (Adam) and David Diefenbaugh (Julie); his grandchildren, Cooper Roehr, Caylee Jo Roehr and Braden Lee Diefenbaugh; his brother Bill Diefenbaugh; his brother-in-law Dale McBride; and his nieces and nephews, Chad Diefenbaugh (Catie), Kelly Norton (Derrick) and Garland "Dee" Ivy (Scott).
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Alexander Funeral Home-West (2100 W Illinois St, Evansville, IN 47712). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
