She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewell Strong and Marjorie Strong (Guess); her sister Jane Gibbs; and her granddaughter Rachel Green. She is survived by: her husband Marcus Norman; her daughters, Debra Norman and Cathy Green; her grandchildren, Marcus Green, Matthew Green, Isaac Cage, Sarah Green and Rebekah Cage; and her sister Betty Collins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made to First Southern Baptist Church Library Fund.
