It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Land (Evansville, Indiana), born in Dunnville, Kentucky, who passed away on February 26, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Jones and Gertrude Jones; and her siblings, Christine, Cecil, Jeanne, Joseph Jr. and Barbara.
She is survived by: her husband Earl; her children, Gregory Earl and Teresa Kanter (Randy); her grandchildren, Matthew Kanter, Lindsey Gruenwald (David), Jordan Kanter (Allison) and Joshua Kanter (Livy Zienty); and her great grandchildren, Kiersten, Josiah, Adalynn, Isaac, Samaya and Landyn. She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Boone Funeral Home (5330 Washington Ave, Evansville, IN 47715). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
