She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Woodruff and Carolyn Woodruff (Keller). She is survived by : her husband Gary M. Schaar; her daughters, Christen Stanley (James) and Jenni Schaar; her grandsons, Felix Stanley and Maxwell Stanley; and her brothers, Alan Woodruff (Anne) and Bruce Woodruff (Lesa).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Youth Home located at 2521 N. Burkhardt Rd. Evansville, IN 47715.
