It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathleen Martha Wittgen of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Emge and Gertrude Emge (Wipf); and her siblings, Judith Emge, Mary Pat Smead, Charles Emge, Richard Emge, Walter Emge, Melvin Emge and David Emge.
She is survived by: her husband Bob Wittgen; her son Sean Bornefeld (Cara); her grandchildren, Trevin, Christian, Kaleb, Ashlyn and Claudia; her sisters, Sue Berry (Robert) and Barbara Rexing (Allen); her sisters-in-law, Tanya Emge and Sheila Emge; and her siblings' children, Diane, Lori, Sarah, Natalie, Evelyn, Wayne and John.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church (5528 Hogue Rd, Evansville, IN 47712). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Corpus Christi Catholic Church or Mater Dei High School.
