He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Boes and Mary Lou Boes (Kummerer); his stepmother Bertha Boes; and his sister Janet Steinmetz. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Laughary Boes; his children, Kathy Brainerd (Mat) of Naples, Florida, Jeff Boes (Kellie) of Jupiter and Bryan Boes (Abby) of Newburgh; his stepson Brad Laughary (Joanne); his grandchildren, Alex, Leah Brainerd, Nick, Zach Boes, Charlie and Lila Boes; and his brothers, Lanny, Marvin and Dwayne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pierre Funeral Home (2601 W Franklin St, Evansville, IN 47712). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
