Kenneth will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Though Kenneth is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Kenneth’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hawes and Lillian Hawes; his wife Sylvia Timberlake Hawes; and his sister Connie Edwards. He is survived by: his daughters, Kenna Knodle (Ken) and Dora Hawes (Pat Dennis); and his grandchildren, Zoe and Varner Knodle.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel (1800 St George Rd, Evansville, IN 47711). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
