He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal P. Joy (Harrison) and William K. Patterson (Mary); his sister Patricia Shock; his children, Kep Patterson and Kimberly Patterson; and his granddaughter Rebecca Barnard.
He is survived by: his children, Shanna Camacho, Kerry Patterson, Jessica Barnard (Brandon), Abby Patterson and Joshua Patterson (Lindsey). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
