It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larry Wayne Hunter of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on September 13, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Hunter and Betty Hunter (Groves); his son Jason Hunter; and his sisters, Regina Stephens and Linda Miles.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Hunter (Mandel) of Evansville, IN; his daughter Misty Gray (Randall Rayshell) of Evansville, IN; his siblings, Brenda Crawford (Ron) of Evansville, IN, Doug Hunter (Teresa) of Evansville, IN and Gary Hunter of Evansville, IN; and his grandchildren, Justin, Brittney and Dayton. He is also survived by four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Browning Funeral Home (738 E Diamond Ave, Evansville, IN 47711). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
