He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Murray and Lillian Waide Murray; his sister Sharon Riley; and his brothers-in-law, Mike Dunn, Charles Riley and Stevie Stevens.
He is survived by: his wife Paula; his son Paul Murray (Karla); his grandchildren, Gavin Murray (Madison) and Cambell Murray; his great grandchild Davis Roger Murray; and his caregivers, Brandi and Courtney. He is also survived by his brothers- and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
