We bid farewell to Larry Peckenpaugh (Evansville, Indiana), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 9, 2025 at the age of 84. Larry touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Peckenpaugh and Alma Peckenpaugh (Mueller); his sister Betty; his brother-in-law Jim Downey; his brothers, Wesley Peckenpaugh and Jerry; his sister-in-law Mildred Peckenpaugh; his close friend Molly; and his pet Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Jean Jung; his children, Melinda Brown (Greg) and Chad Peckenpaugh (Gail); and his granddaughters, Kirstyn Sutton (Tim) and Katelyn Horton (Kilian). He is also survived by grand dogs; a sister-in-law, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Pierre Funeral Home (2601 W Franklin St, Evansville, IN 47712). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
