With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry W. Downen (Evansville, Indiana), who passed away on February 11, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Edward and Mary Kathryn Downen (Abney); and his siblings, Jo Anna "Anne" Eskew and Timothy Scott Downen. He is survived by: his wife Hilda Darleen Downen; his children, Kamie Myra Hughes (Dan), James Nash (Monique) and Amy Nash (Jake Evans); his sister Debi Niles (Steve); and his pet Kitty. He is also survived by five grandchildren; one great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to American Cancer Society, St. Jude or Townsend Bible Church in Newburgh.
