He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar J. Steckler and Catherine Steckler (Snyder); and his brother Eugene Steckler. He is survived by: his wife Kathy A. Steckler (Phillips); his children, Chad Steckler (Kim), Jason Steckler (Amy McBride) and Michelle Scherzinger (Chris); his siblings, Rosalie Hirsch (Larry), Jane Russell (Barry), Steve Steckler (Mary) and Ronald Steckler (Tammy); his grandchildren, Brooke Newhouse (Tyler) and Cassie Paulson (Ben); and his great grandchildren, Brantley and Macon Newhouse. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
