In loving memory of Leonard J. Gansman Jr. of Evansville, Indiana, who departed this world on August 2, 2025 at the age of 91. Leonard leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard J. Sr. Gansman and Martina Gansman (Koester); his sisters, Martina Weber and Mary Rose Sauer; his brother-in-law Andrew Sauer; and his nephews, Mark Weber, Michael Sauer and Jim Kelly.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Bill Weber; and his sibling's children, Carolyn Glover (Robert), Brenda Kelly, Janna Sauer, Diana Steele, Louis Riecken (Terri), Frank Riecken (Judy), Rickie Riecken (Diane), Cedric Riecken (Rita), Tina Martin (Brad) and Michelle Tanner (Tim).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (2701 W Franklin St, Evansville, IN 47712).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to It Takes A Village Animal Rescue, 1417 Stockwell Road, Evansville, IN 47715 or to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
