He is survived by: his wife Wilma Jean McCoy (Seybold); his son Lewis McCoy Jr. (Ed); his sisters, Barbara Smith and Nancy Rainey; his grandchildren, Kaitlin Clayton (Chris) of North Port and Kameron McCoy (Chloe) of Mobile, Alabama; his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Carter Clayton, Talon, Nash and Maverick McCoy; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Christopher (Kalli), Jaydan and Coleby Clayton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1401 W Boonville - New Harmony Rd, Evansville, IN 47725). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
