It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LilyRae (Hazzard) Serletic of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on January 7, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Hazzard and Lily Hazzard (Ryder); and her sister-in-law Sharon. She is survived by: her husband Richard Thomas Serletic; her children, Teri Hendricks (Scott), Dr. Dean Serletic (Deborah) and Dr. Darin Serletic (Lisa); her brothers, Robert Hazzard and Ray Hazzard (Thelma); her grandchildren, Keely, Shaye Hendricks, Grant Serletic, Marisa Serletic of Briley Serletic, PT and Cade Serletic; and her great grandchild Elliott Wells.

“I am a neighbor of LilyRae and Dick. LilyRae loved to read , as did I. I put a “ Little Library” in my yard and she used it all the time, she gave me books to add also. We talked about what interested her and when I thought I found one for her I would walk it over to her. . She was such a pleasure to be around. When they were looking for a house in our neighborhood Dick came and ask my husband and I about the neighborhood. They were great neighbors, I miss seeing them around. RIP LilyRae!”
