She was predeceased by: her parents, Thelmer Dee and Ruby Elmore; her husband Glen Brown; her sister Maxine Gwynn; and her son James Shown.
She is survived by: her daughter Penny Lacer (Brent); her sister Caroleene Borgess; and her granddaughters, Jeri Lacer, Christina Hicks (Casey) and Shana Marx (Ryan). She is also survived by several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
