In loving memory of Lola Pearl Davis of Evansville, Indiana, born in Luverne, Alabama, who departed this world on July 7, 2025 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her former husband John Anderson; her daughter Delilah Yingling; her parents, Dolly Briggs and George Briggs; and her siblings, Alberta Anderson, Anita Aughtman, Marion Briggs, Colbert Briggs and Joseph Briggs.
She is survived by: her husband Cletus Davis; her daughters, Cecilia Brennan and Joni Acton; her grandchildren, Paul Brennan (Amy), Devin Brennan (Anna), Tara Gilmore (Matthew) and Tyne Acton; her great grandchildren, Aarvo, Molly, Willow Brennan, Blake, Cole, Max Brennan, Emma, Sophia Waggoner, Vance and Winnie Gilmore; and also John Anderson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Old North United Methodist Church (4201 Stringtown Rd, Evansville, IN 47711). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Old North United Methodist Church, SWIRCA, Marrs Township Fire Department, Black Township Fire and Rescue, or your local fire department.
