We bid farewell to Lucille Mays (Evansville, Indiana), born in Drakesboro, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 12, 2024 at the age of 85. Lucille touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by : her parents, Porter Wilson Jr. and Flossie Mae Fraizer; her son John Mays; her aunt Altha Handy (Delois Wilson); and her uncle Cleatus Wilson.

She is survived by : her sister Mary Liz; her children, Karan, Felicia, Shelia, Denise, Ronald, Mark and Robert; her great great grandchild Amir Thigpen (Donnie Austin); and her pets, Peanut, Maddie and Midnight. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Memorial Baptist Church (605 Canal St, Evansville, IN 47713). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
