She is survived by: her sons, Melvin D. Jr., Gregory P. Luvenia and Gino C. Wharton; her godson Javar Madison, Jr. (Helina); and her siblings, Mary E. Meriwether, Shirley Willingham (Brown), Virginia E. Lee, Charles G. Brown, III and Reginald R. Brown. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
