She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosa Pfeiffer (Keil) and Andrew Pfeiffer; her husband Walter B; her daughters, Connie Marie Hassel and Cheryl Chinn; her siblings, Lillian Rice, Geneva Jones, Isabella Holfelner, Edward Pfeiffer and Ray Pfeiffer; and her sister-in-law Pauline Briner-Sutch.
She is survived by: her children, Terri Schmuck (Daryl), Karen McNamara (Ken), Mike Hassel (Caryl) and Mark Hassel; and her son-in-law Barry Chinn. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel (800 S Hebron Ave, Evansville, IN 47714).
