She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Owen and Gertrude Owen (Livers); her husband Clarence L. DeWitt; her grandson Michael J. DeWitt; and her siblings, Mary Claassen, Jane Owen and John Owen (Bud).

She is survived by: her children, Deb DeWitt (Sue Ernspiger), Jane McCurdy (Earl) of Scottsdale, AZ, David DeWitt (Rose) and John DeWitt; her daughter-in-law Dawn DeWitt; and her grandsons, Joseph (Sara), Christopher (Stephanie), Trevor DeWitt and Andrew McCurdy (Lacey). She is also survived by two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
