The memory of Margie I. Barney of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on July 16, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Stoneberger and Mabel Stoneberger (Roberts). She is survived by: her husband Larry Barney; her children, Angela Williams (Dennis), Brad Barney and Kim Conner (Scott); her grandchildren, Jennifer Hortness (Chris), Jeffrey Williams, Taylor Barney (Corey Walters), Matthew Conner (Eliza) and Amanda Conner; her great grandchildren, Brenden, Hayden, Logan, Phoenix, Laira, Vann, Lucy, Hadley, Aislynn and Zelda; and her siblings-in-law, Sandy Howell, Donna Barney and Barney.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Alexander West Chapel (2100 W Illinois St, Evansville, IN 47712). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Alexander Memorial Park Chapel of Remembrance (2200 Mesker Park Dr, Evansville, IN 47720).
