It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marian A. Thomas of Evansville, Indiana, born in Eldorado, Illinois, who passed away on February 2, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Barton and Myrtle Barton (White); her husband James; and her brothers, Marvon Barton and Arthur "Tom" Barton.

She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth "Beth" Hanneken and James "Jim" Thomas (Pam); and her grandchildren, Jillian Hanneken and Dr. McKenzie Bocklet (Chris). She is also survived by 1 great grandchild on the way; and nieces and nephews.
