She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Geschwindenhammer and Anna Geschwindenhammer (Hisker); her husband Thomas E. Vanover, Sr.; her stepsons, Thomas E Vanover Jr., Perry Vanover and Anthony Vanover; and her grandson Andrew Philip Koch.
She is survived by: her grandson Tom; her daughters, Tamara L "Tammy" Wilder (Lorie Conyers) and Jane Brand Koch (late Walter G. Koch II); her grandchildren, Thomas S. Wilder, Laura Koch Chambers (Heath) of Evansville and Matthew Aaron Koch (Rebekah) of College Grove, TN.; her great grandchildren, Amelia Grace Eckert, Olivia Jane Eckert, Lucas Andrew Eckert, Elizabeth Rose Koch, William Andrew Koch, Caroline Margaret Koch and Alexander Robert Koch; and her caregivers, Katey, Jane, Emily and Marilyn.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Pierre Funeral Home (2601 W Franklin St, Evansville, IN 47712). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Welborn Foundation.
