She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Helfrich and Carrie Helfrich (Steckler); her husband Francis Bittner; and her siblings, Ella Mae Kroeger, Doris Peach, Dolores Kiesel, Bernice Schile, Edward "Mups" Helfrich and Melvin Helfrich.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Babcock (Tim), Janice Paul (Tony), Randy Bittner (Debbie Naas) and Russell Bittner (Mindy); her sister Julitta Flick; and her grandchildren, Kyle Babcock (Ashley), Jenna Lucas (Jerod), Jaci Pabst (Adam), Lori Jones (Eric), Jodi Bittner, Daniel Bittner, Tony Paul, Jr., Kelly Hoppel and Luke Bittner.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, to the Ronald McDonald House in Evansville or to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN.
