As Marilyn departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Marilyn may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Marilyn leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ferdinand "Fred" Lehman and Theresa Lehman (Olberding); her husband Martin Hicks; and her sister Joyce Clapper. She is survived by: her children, Marty Hicks (Cheryl), Julie Smock (Steve) and Jayce Hicks. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
