He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Horton, (Walden) and Donald E. Horton, Sr.. He is survived by: the mother of his children Rita Burress; his children, Kayla Horton, Nicole Horton (Treyce), Ricky Burress, Jr., Jason Burress, Markus "Chris" Horton and Andrew "Jake" Horton; and his siblings, Debbie Brown (Dale), Terry Horton and Don Horton, Jr. (Sherri). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews.
