He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Kerchief (Scherer) and Shirley M. "Bud" Kerchief; his brothers, Keith Kerchief and Brian Kerchief; and his brother-in-law Ken Franklin.
He is survived by: his children, Ryan Kerchief (Breanne), Leslie McNeeley (Gavin) and Lenzie Ewin (Hunter); his siblings, Kristie Franklin, Shirley Blankenship (Darrell), Julie Cates Kerchief, Danny Kerchief (Kathy), Greg Kerchief and Paul Kerchief (Amy); and his grandchildren, Kole Kerchief, Hadley Gardner, Hensley Gardner, Griffith Ewin, Graham Ewin and Greer Ewin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
