He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer and Ernestine Dame (Hall); his wives, Anni Dame and Betty Reynolds-Dame; and his grandson John McKissick.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Carty of Albion, IL, Angela McKissick (Joe McKissick) of Martinsville, VA and Helga Thordsen (Joseph) of Old Hickory, TN; his brother Clarence "Earl" Dame (Barbara) of Hanson, KY; and his grandchildren, Isaac McKissick, Christopher Thordsen, Patrick Thordsen and Chastity Splittorff. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
