Mary G. Bays Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary G. Bays of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on March 1, 2026 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Hohl (Veneman) and Raymond Hohl; her husband Gene A. Bays; her sons, Ronald Bays, Rodney Bays, Randy Bays and Robby Bays; her grandchildren, Zachary Bays, Chris Bays and Jeff Bays; her great grandchild Riley Bays-Weimer; her daughters-in-law, Sandy Bays and Linda Bays; and her siblings, Rita Enlow, Robert Hohl and Raymond Hohl.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Julian (Dennis), Carol Wargel (David), Shirley Brown (Mike), Richard Bays, Raymond Bays (Karen) and Roger Bays (Jerry); and her daughter-in-law Claire Bays. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
