Mavis Brown Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on December 16, 2025, at the age of 98, Mavis Brown of Evansville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Levell and Dora Levell (Jones); her husband Ralph L. Brown; her children, Wanda Clemons and Wayne Kell; her stepson Leo Brown; her siblings, Evelyn Baker, Lavonne Poe, Ernest Levell, Lester Levell and Silven Levell; and her great grandchild Ryne Phillips.
She is survived by: her sons, Warren Kell (Sharon) and Wendell Kell (Vicki); her stepchildren, Kathy Butler and Ralph Brown Jr. (Gayle); her stepdaughter-in-law Joette Brown; her sisters, Colleen Hughes and Doris Oglesby; her grandchildren, Brock Kell, Brent Kell, Beth Miller (Anthony), Wendy Doninger (Mike), Amy Phillips Christopher Darnell (Greg) and Jessie McKeethen (Jen); and her stepgrandsons, Leo Brown Jr. and Tom Brown. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild and by many nieces and nephews.
